Kate Atkenson 

This Hastings Girls’ High School alumni, who trained as a chef when she first left school, is a shining example of hard work and determination paying dividends, having been encouraged by her Oldershaw team to gain her qualification and become a Financial Adviser in what is generally considered a male-centric profession. 

With her high-level attention to detail, Kate is trusted with the firm’s smooth flow of investment activity for OCW, which is Oldershaw’s financial advice, planning and wealth management service. 

The road from there to here began with Kate working as an office junior and constantly upskilling to move ahead.  She might have left the anti-social chef hours behind but not her foodie talents so never be shy about asking tips for the best-ever crispy pork belly and other delights.
