Neil Lawrence 

Neil brings more than four decades of experience to his work and is known for his long-view approach. He sees his role as helping people not just at key financial moments, but across whole business and life stages. His specialist strength in business valuations is often applied in matrimonial settlements and business purchases and sales. 

He has a direct, no-nonsense style, and is good at identifying what actually matters to people. Clients value his ability to quickly understand their needs and provide clear, actionable advice. They appreciate the confidence that comes from working with someone who has seen most situations before but remains genuinely invested in their outcomes.

His contribution extends well beyond his professional work. He is a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit, a Life Member of New Zealand Hockey, and has held leadership roles in projects like the development of Park Island’s hockey facilities.

 

Neil was raised with a strong work ethic, paying his way through university picking fruit, fattening pigs and driving pea harvesters. This upbringing shaped his belief in hard work, fairness, and being properly valued for what you do. These values still inform how he works with clients today.
