Cheryl is the engine of Oldershaw – she’s central to the smooth running of the firm from day to day. Whenever screens freeze or systems fail, people turn to her calm presence. She’s a problem solver, known for her steady approach and practical intelligence.
Starting her career in the travel industry, Cheryl spent over a decade running offices, managing accounts, and overseeing systems. This experience now serves her well as Office Manager. Since joining the firm in 2022, her responsibilities have steadily grown to encompass office operations, trust accounts, IT systems, building management, and partner support.
Relationship building is at the heart of what Cheryl does. She knows the people she works with and has built strong relationships with suppliers and service providers, which leads to faster solutions and better outcomes for the firm.
Outside of work, Cheryl is family-focused and proud of her three adult children. She has a long-standing passion for sport, drawn not just to the game itself but to the systems, strategies, and psychology behind team performance.
That same interest in how things work — how parts fit together, how people function best within a system — mirrors the way she approaches her role at work: observant, analytical, and always thinking about how to improve the overall performance of the team.
